Welcome Tyler Carey to the iMission Team!

2023 has been a busy year for iMission, and we are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our staff, Tyler Carey!

As the iMission Community Engagement Coordinator, Tyler blends grassroots community organizing and digital advocacy for iMission’s clients. He brings a personal passion for youth and environmental advocacy.

“One quote that resonates with me is: ‘The question shall always be answered from the standpoint of the greatest good of the greatest number in the long run,’ by Gifford Pinchot,” says Tyler. “I find our work at iMission Institute exciting because it enables nonprofits to have a far-reaching, positive impact over time. Enhancing these organizations’ capacity for good is something I take great pride in.”

Tyler’s work digs deep into communities and helps connect nonprofits with volunteers, advocates, and supporters. His work adds energy and enthusiasm to many areas where nonprofits sometimes struggle to succeed in finding support.

A Connecticut native, Tyler’s now based in New Haven and spends his free time hiking East Rock, playing the guitar, and working on producing his album.  Tyler graduated from Southern Connecticut State University, where he studied environmental sustainability and climate policy.

We are excited to see what the future holds for Tyler and thrilled to have him on the iMission team!
