Welcome iMission’s Newest Salesforce Consultant Valerie Achterhof

The iMission Salesforce team is growing! Please say hello and welcome to our new salesforce consultant, Valerie Achterhof!

Valerie supports nonprofits across the country in harnessing the power of Salesforce. She is a data, dashboard, and report-writing expert with a keen understanding of how to help nonprofit teams become more productive using technology.

“We want to make sure our clients are set up for long-term success,” Valerie explains. “It’s a manifestation of how much we value the work that our clients are doing. It’s not just a paycheck — the client’s success in achieving their mission matters to us.”

Much of Valerie’s time is spent meeting directly with our clients, either training them on the Salesforce CRM platform, understanding their pain points and brainstorming solutions, or walking them through custom solutions that she’s helped build to address those pain points.

“Just having a workplace that aligns with my values is the most exciting thing about my work,” says Valerie. “It’s also pretty great to be able to work with so many diverse nonprofits at once.”

Previously, an Americorps alum, Valerie has bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Economics as well as a master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois. Now, she lives just outside of Chicago, and enjoys live music (including playing her cello), knitting, and all things outdoors, especially hiking and kayaking.

We are excited to welcome Valerie to our expanding team and look forward to supporting her work with our Salesforce clients!
